Our Story

Craftsmanship Since 1979

Founded in 1979 in the heart of Sayeda Zainab, Old Cairo, The Wood Court started as a modest 300 m² workshop with a singular passion for wood craftsmanship. Under the visionary leadership of founder Mr. Adel Zahran, the company was positioned as the market leader in premium wood flooring across Egypt.

In 2015, we expanded our capabilities with a dedicated pergolas and outdoor solutions production line. Today, we operate from a 6,200 m² state-of-the-art factory in Abo Rawash and a 400 m² showroom in Dokki, with over 200 technicians on our team.

We continue to invest in the finest equipment — German CNC machines, Italian UV finishing lines from Giardina, diamond tools, and laser-cutting technology — to deliver unmatched precision and quality in every piece we produce.

1979

The Beginning

Started as a 300 m² workshop in Sayeda Zainab, Old Cairo, with a vision to bring the finest wood craftsmanship to Egypt.

1984

New Equipment

Invested in state-of-the-art SCM Group machines from Italy, setting a new standard for precision in the Egyptian market.

1992

First Expansion

Doubled our workshop area to meet growing demand, reinforcing our position as the go-to wood flooring specialist.

2000

New Factory

Relocated to a purpose-built factory in the Abo Rawash industrial zone, enabling large-scale production capacity.

2002

Full Automation

Introduced fully automated production lines, significantly increasing output while maintaining handcrafted quality.

2006

Geometric Tiles

Launched a new geometric wood tile production line, expanding our portfolio with intricate patterns and designs.

2009

Major Expansion

Expanded the factory to over 6,000 m², housing advanced machinery and dedicated production zones.

2014

UV Finishing Line

Installed Giardina Italy UV curing and finishing lines, delivering factory-grade finishes with exceptional durability.
